Ford-DUB Edition Made Official 0
Ford has announced its team up with the DUB Magazine and Roush Industries in the production of a 2011 Mustang DUB Edition. This new lineup is designed for the “new generation” of Mustang buyers.
Incidentally, the DUB edition of Ford’s Mustang will sport a Roush front fascia, lowering springs, rear-quarter covers for the windows, graphic stripes and 20-inch TIS wheels. These wheels will also be covered by Pirelli high-performance tires. The interior of the DUB edition isn’t overlooked, either. Ford said that DUB embroidered headrests will be used for the front seats.
The DUB edition Mustang will be powered by a 3.7-liter V6 which can generate up to 305 horsepower. The engine can also produce a maximum of 280 pound-feet of torque. Paired with a six-speed transmission (which is available in either automatic or manual), and a rear axle that has a 3.1 gear ratio, the new generation Mustang is definitely going to be a crowd pleaser.
According to Mustang brand manager Fritz Wilke, the Ford Mustang happens to be the most customized vehicle in the world. When it comes to collaborations with other top auto experts, the Mustang has definitely pushed a lot of boundaries. The brand manager was also confident that the relationship between Roush, DUB and Ford will help propel the 2011 Mustang to new heights as it faces a “whole new audience”.
Officially, the Mustang DUB Edition will be put on sale this autumn. The vehicle will be offered as a glass rood coupe, a coupe, or a convertible.
